Lately the list of the first bath of to-be-cultivated characteristic industrial demonstration parks was released by Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee, and the Ningbo Industrial IOT Park in Jiangbei District has been chosen as one of the first 5 to-be-cultivated industrial parks in Ningbo.

Ningbo Industrial IOT Park, located at the cross of Guangyuan Road and North Ring Viaduct, is right next to the Olympic Center Station of Rail Transit No. 4. The industrial park is composed of “2 halls, 2 showrooms and 1 zone”, namely an industrial IOT experience hall, a showroom, a café bar, a library and a forum zone. According to the planning, the Park is to develop and open the Ningbo Industrial IOT Big Data Platform, the Industrial IOT Testing Platform and the Industrial IOT Academy and IOT Software Service Platform to the SMEs in 3 years’ time for extensive application of IOT in intelligent manufacturing. The Park is to be developed into a large scale industrial park, featuring high technologies and being supported by R&D while based on production and processing as well as logistics for industrial production, learning and researches by way of introducing talents and projects, integrating the whole industrial chain, capital operating and innovating and improving the mechanism.

Ningbo Industrial IOT Park, a park of “1 academy, 5 centers and 10 platforms”, boasts 4 subordinate parks within, namely the Sensors Park, IOT Software Park, IOT Application Park and IOT Communications Park. Enterprises within the parks are able to cooperate with each for each of their own benefits. For now, the first phase and the second phase of the Park have been fully reserved by 66 enterprises and the third phase of the Park has been successfully decorated for settling down of more enterprises. Early this June, the project of 20-floor Ningbo Keli IOT Building is smoothly underway and once finished it would be the fourth phase of the Park. The Keli IOT Building covers a total area of 40 thousand square meters and is expected to be finished in the end of Year 2019, available for 50 IOT enterprises to take root in.
