For the past few days, Jiangbei Federation of Trade Unions and trade unions at all levels have been paying visits to frontline workers of key projects and painstakingly dangerous industries, delivering them care and coolness in the hot summer.

In recent days, representatives of the Trade Union of Kongpu Sub-district went to the construction site of Zhongxing Bridge, visiting those hard-working frontline workers, delivering them with heatstroke prevention goods of beverages, towels and medicine. Besides, 50 brochures on garbage classification were handed and the workers were invited to follow the subscription account of “甬工惠” to enjoy benefits of trade unions.

The Trade Union of Wenjiao Sub-district, together with Yaojiang Community Health Care Service Center, carried out an activity of assigning doctors to enterprises with condolences in this hot summer. For the first visit, they went to Ningbo Dashing International Logistics Co., Ltd., presenting a lecture on health care knowledge for “Winter Disease Cured in Summer”. After the lecture, medical staff also provided health consultation and bone mineral density testing for workers free of charge.

This year, Jiangbei Federation of Trade Unions is to carry out “3 deliveries” of health care, namely coolness, services and favorable policies in the summer, presenting frontline workers with heatstroke prevention goods for free, supervising and urging enterprises to implement the relevant policies and regulations of heatstroke prevention and cooling and promoting the installation of heatstroke prevention and cooling facilities in high temperature operating units.
